​​The Jones Lang LaSalle consultancy team in Dublin has many decades’ experience in the area of advising companies and other bodies on their property options.  Here is a sample of some of the major assignments we have successfully undertaken:

An Post: We have acted as strategic advisors to An Post on the disposal of a wide range of properties including the outright sale of their 14-acre site on the Naas Road in Dublin at a record price for this particular type of site. Our timing and strategic approach proved to be more successful than the most obvious alternative for An Post i.e. seeking planning permission for alternative use.

Eircom: We provide strategic advice to Eircom relating to a number of its operational properties. As part of our service, we carry out strenuous tests on the financial consequences of various courses of action, with all outturns measured on a time-weighted basis.

Diageo: As referred to above, we have been providing strategic advice to Diageo plc (formerly Guinness) for several decades. We have a deep understanding of Diageo’s operational, cultural and branding requirements – an understanding that is a critical prerequisite for providing the appropriate commercial property sales and leasing advice. As Diageo’s business has evolved (it has lately announced major changes to its brewing operation in Ireland) we have continued to work closely with its senior management team – adapting, listening and anticipating how the company’s property and business cycles will intertwine. Recent examples of the successful execution of strategic advice provided to Diageo included the sale of the Guinness House property on Union Quay in Cork and the simultaneous procurement of alternative office space in Cork for the company.

Master planning:  We have provided master planning advice to Temple Bar Properties, the Custom House Docks Development Authority, the Dublin Docklands Authority, the Department of the Environment and Local Government and many other public and private bodies.
