Advice & Letting of Millfield Shopping Centre

Brief
Jones Lang LaSalle was appointed in 2005 to give advice in relation to the potential development of a site in Balbriggan.

Initiatives
Jones Lang LaSalle provided advice on all aspects of the project, from centre size to layout and tenant mix. The Centre eventually had a lettable floor area of 17,000 sq m with 30 retail units.

Result
The Centre was the only shopping centre to open in 2011 in a challenging retail environment.  The Centre opened with 85% of the retail space committed.  Tenants secured included a 10,000 sq m Tesco letting (the largest in Dublin), Boots, GameStop, More For Less, Carphone Warehouse, Gleeson's, BB's, O'Brien's, McDonalds and others. Currently there are 7 further retail units in legals.
