Moran & Bewley’s Hotel Group Sale – Vendor Due Diligence and Valuation for Finance

​The JLL H&HG Team advised on the sale of the Moran & Bewley’s Hotel Group to Dalata Hotel Group PLC in H2 2014. Our initial involvement centred around providing assistance with vendor due diligence in the form of valuation reports and vendor building surveys.

JLL H&HG were then subsequently retained to assist with the completion of the transaction and provided further valuation advisory services to the purchaser, including assisting with the preparation of a detailed stock exchange Admission Document.

This single transaction, with a gross price of €455m, accounted for over 50% of total Irish hotel transaction volumes in 2014 and we are very proud to have been involved in this transaction.
