Boots Open New Unit at Mill Centre, Clondalkin

Dublin 20 August 2012 – Boots the major pharmacy led health & beauty chain have made further progress in their rollout of stores, having already opened premises in Ballina and Phibsborough.
A letting in the Mill Centre in Clondalkin has been concluded by Jones Lang La Salle and the prominent premises opened on the 11th August. Boots have rented a unit of approximately 4,700 sq ft at a rent of €90,000 per annum with the usual market rent free periods etc.

Boots who are in the process of completing a global agreement with the US company Walgreen are one of the few multiple retailers active in the Irish market for deal driven new lettings in the right location. Jones Lang La Salle are Boots sole agents in the Irish market, DEPC are the landlords in the Mill Centre and Xavier McAuliffe were their agents.
Stephen Murray, Retail Director in Jones Lang LaSalle confirmed “further store openings are progressing well with the 2012 plan close to completion, attention is turning to prioritising the 2013 pipeline of opportunities. In addition to over 20 target locations, Boots are now actively considering locations where there are new primary care medical services for towns which would otherwise not have met the minimum catchment criteria”
