Three Food Retailers to add to tenant line up in Nutgrove Food Court.

Rising footfall levels in Nutgrove Shopping Centre

Subway, Upper Crust Deli and Ice n Smooth Juice/Ice Cream Bar are leasing retail units in Nutgrove Shopping Centre in the central food court scheme. The food court consists of 6 food units and a central seating area for 100 customers. It is the first addition to the on-going upgrade of the shopping centre and will be followed by re-tiling of the centre which will serve to modernise this established scheme.

Subway is leasing the largest unit of 49 sq m that is adjacent to the food court and will have the benefit of using the food court customer seating area. Upper Crust Deli is leasing a 19 sq m kiosk and Ice n Smooth is leasing the adjacent corner unit of 15 sq m. A total income of over €120,000 per annum will be generated by these three lettings.

A further deal is agreed on Unit F3 and there is now only one remaining unit in the food court development of 40.3 sq m. Jones Lang LaSalle are marketing this prime unit.

Rita Carney of Jones Lang LaSalle acted on behalf of the landlord in relation to the above lettings, which follows other recent lettings in the shopping centre to retailers such as PHQ Pizza Hut, Holland & Barrett and Pretzel Express.

Rita Carney stated that ‘rising footfall levels in the shopping centre have been experienced in recent times, which are substantially exceeding the national benchmark average. This is largely due to the opening of the adjacent retail and office park and addition of new retailers within the centre such as Ebano, Notionz and Holland & Barrett which have further enhanced Nutgrove Shopping Centre as a convenience retailing destination’.
